Lowe's gets initial ok from Salem City Council to receive a tax break of $125,000?... to:
take out other businesses like Home Depot and local lumber shops,
(build in the woods and wetlands,)
leaving other big box stores empty in the end.
"Councilors had to approve a zoning change earlier this year in order to pave the way for the Lowe's/Walmart project."
(Yet when the Salem Zoning was revised last year, it did not include the latest state zoning data from Mass GIS, which would of created more zoning restrictions!
