"I'm not sure if you've come across this or not, but people can take a box, put paper and pencils, business cards or trinkets in it. They hide the box in the woods and record the gps coordinates, then post it on line on www.geocaching.com. People go looking for the box with thier handheld gps toys. It's kind of a hobby/game... In fact, the reason for the game is that it gets people out in the woods with their gps toys. I even found a cache listed for Spring Pond" ~Brian
