"The lions of the day thought it beneficial to keep an area forever wild as a refuge because of the urban expansion taking place throughout the communities... The City of Salem took 4 acres by eminent domain to build a water tower and another parcel was part of a sold for development. Currently there is a purchase and sale agreement in place to sell another parcel for commercial development."
The People just want to know: Is it because the new Camp board members have a different philosophy today, than the 'The Lions of the day' which sought to protect the land, or are they being strong-armed into a position (seeming there was already and eminent domain takeover)?
If We The People can help it, we can help not take these pristine woods away.
