  4. What about the 1000 children of the camp? How can their parents afford to pay for another good camp? How are the Lions helping the camp for children stay? this is not explained, but ignored. Shame on the Lions and the City of Salem for not thinking of the children!

  5. What about the families of these children who can't afford another camp? What about the children?

  6. Anon 9:30am. Get out of the tunnel and listen to reasons outside your family.

  7. I wish I had a receipt for all the time I've donated to the camp for all these decades.

  8. I read through the list of donators (on the Lynn Lions/ Camp Lion Story) and found a relative who donated money. This is upsetting to hear. Imagine what all those people who donated to the Lions, to preserve this land, must be feeling today.

  9. To Anon 9:30am...Telling the truth is not an attack. Blowing up, bulldozing, leveling open space wildlife habitat, destroying hawk's nest's in pine trees, laying polluted pavement and asphalt down and letting it run into a stream and then into drinking water is an attack.
Anon 9:30am--think about something more and greater than your petty issues.

  10. Anon, Its hard to see the facts when your family members are involved in controversial dealings worth millions of dollars. Your loyalty to them will be needed one day if they go to jail. Its no secret. Where did all the money go from the previous land sales, and cellular tower rentals? And where will the money go from this next deal? Follow the money, honey.

  11. I don't want anyone to go to jail, that's is for sure. What I want is for them to have an awakening and see that this deal is wrong; then, I hope the land can be put into a conservation easement, as suggested directly to them by SaveCamps.org

  12. Is Driscoll happy about her scheme now? What a train wreck! All the little tricks backfired. Salem vote her out!

  13. Do you know how many other camps these kids could go to? Ohh what if the parents cannot afford it? Well guess what there is a city run program in Salem that is free. They even give the lazy fucks a lunch for their kids for free!
