In 1954, Camp Lion was listed under Section 170(c)- Public Charity. Section 170(c) refers to agencies that conduct activities to benefit the public at large.

I thank you for your generousity for all these years in providing children, adults, dogs, animals, etc. to freely walk and enjoy your wonderful property. Isn't it clear to you by now that people love this area and do not want to lose it to development? There are many, many people who will offer help in preserving the area. Just ask us.
